Life is too short to tell someone how much you cared
And when they do go, you wish you would have tried.
They leave this world behind them as they leave
And we cannot bring them back, as many tears as we cried.
But let us remember this one thing
What they leave behind, they gain so much more
A life free of pain, and sorrows
Something, that all of are looking towards.
It may be hard at times, and you may cry
But God is still with you, at all times
Through all your tears, and the pain you go through
His strength will comfort you, and be your guide.
And your friends can be the pillars you lean on
There for you in the good, more so in the bad.
We will laugh with you when you need it the most
And cry with you, in the times you are sad.
A man is not measured by the way that he died
But by the way his friends remember how he lived.
This man was no exception. His kind warm smile.
The way he laughed, and would kid, but most, how he gived.
Like a father to some, but like a grandfather to kids
A loving husband, one with a really big heart.
I know losing someone is hard to go through, I loved him too
But we will keep him close, so we will never be apart.
And as he worships God in heaven above
Maybe he will look down and smile, in his body new
