The death rate of anyone reading this bible lesson/message is 100%. If God continues to tarry we all will give up the ghost at some point in our life. Death is certain. Death is something no one wants to discuss, even me, but it’s something that is played around with like a kid’s toy. So many hold their life on the very edge of death but hate to discuss loosing someone or even their own life. I wonder what would happen if they lived like they were dying.

Death Rate Stats:
1.78 Per second
107 per minute
6390 per hour
153 thousand per day
56.0 million Per year
3.9 billion Per average lifetime (70 years)

Which means so far while reading this post about 10 people have died in which over half are ages 16 months - 26 years old. Could you be next? This is not to scare anyone but to bring them down to reality to realize that time is so very short and what we do with it while were here is what really counts in the end.

What we CAN and CAN NOT control:

The fact of the matter is we cannot control how long we live or when we actually pass away. We cannot trade, borrow, steal or take someone else time in replace of ours. God has intended is to be someone, do something, and to be the hands and feet of Jesus. Even you cannot control your length of time here on earth - God knows our future but he also knows what he wants us to become.

However, we can control how we live our life here on earth and what we do with each and every precious day that we live. We control who we will become, what we will be, what we will do, who we like, our passion and our deepest desire. YOU and ONLY YOU control what you will do with your life. If you choose to be a business man/lady, you will become a one. If you choose to be CEO of a company, and put your heart and soul into it, you will become what you desire. Keep in mind that everything we do has a direct effect on our life and everyone else around us life. I you decide to become a soul winner - which my friend is what you will become. We control us.

“My parents tell me what to do and control me”
No, they ‘parent’ you - but you have total control of your life and what you do with it. With that said - you have only yourself to blame when you’re not successful as you wanted to be. It’s because of you if you don’t have a good job and material things that you want. In the same token, It is 100% your fault if your lost and 100% your gain if your saved.

Your life is 100% yours - it’s in your hands.

What do you do with your life?

Everyone enjoys having fun in life. I enjoy going to clean parties. I enjoy going and fellow-shipping with others. Life should be filled with fun and enjoyment - but where does everything else come in? It seems that we as humans make time for what we really want to make time for. Even if were busy or can’t afford something - we do what we really want to do. Again, that is our power. But some choose to make fun and games their life without considering anyone’s life.

Although we cannot change the whole world alone, we could change someones world which in turn would hopefully change another life. Going to Football games, basketball games, vacation, and whatever else keeps you from church related function, is only physical and will only last for a season. The majority of young people invest their time in games or sports. “Life is supposed to be fun” You are correct, but there has to be someone to sacrifice their ‘fun’ to make someone else life ‘fun’ and ‘enjoyable’. If your parent didn’t sacrifice their time to take care of their children - where would we be? The fact of the matter is wherever we invest our time more - that is where you will find the most profitable. If you invest time in football - you’re going to be good at football. If you invest your time in church - you’re going to win souls.

Life like You were Dying:

Time and life is here today and gone tomorrow. We must live each day at our full potential and give that day the best opportunity that we have. I know priorities would change in my life if I found out that I had a limited amount of days/weeks/months to live. Life itself would quickly become like Gold. What would you do if the doctor told you only have one week to live? Would football games be such an importance? Would you back up your pastor and youth leaders more? Would having ‘fun’ become that much of an importance or would you want to possibly help effect others life’s?

Let it sink in. What would I do? What do I do each day that I would be proud of if that was my last day. How golden would life be if I truly found out that this could be the true end?
